Grace first year of T-ball

Grace loves playing ball this year! She had two of her friends on the team Shad and Kowen. She is a good little hitter to! Before she asked everyday if she had ball tonight now she asks everyday "when is trophy night!" (Hope she gets one)

Twins

So Noah woke up in the morning got dressed in his usual shirt with camos. Grace came a while later dressed like this...She was so excited to be twins with her brother. But as you can see Noah wasn't as excited.

Lizard in my kitchen

This little guy almost gave me heart failure, luckily, Noah is a master catcher. I was walking into the kitchen and saw it run across the floor. I was screaming Noah came running. I moved the stove out of the way Noah got in crouching attack position and caught it. Then the lizard decided he wasn't having any part of it so he bit down on Noah's finger. Noah was screaming I was screaming, I slapped it off Noah and then the hunt was on again. Noah caught it again and now it is living on death row.
We laugh about it now but at the time there was a lot of screaming and Noah was mad at me because I told him lizards don't bit...oops! how was I suppose to know? I don't touch lizards:)

Over night camp out at Girls Camp

We always do fun things at girls camp this year was no different. We took an afternoon and when repelling.
This year MaryJo and I ran 4th year! We did an overnight hike. This included backpacking for 2.5 miles then setting up tents...making dinner...Brent taught the girls about tree riding...going into our tents because it is pouring rain...not sleeping because girls are talking in the tent next to you...you yelling at the girls because they are so loud and you are not sleeping...rain coming into your tent...not sleeping because you are sleeping (or trying to sleep) in a puddle of water...waiting for morning to pack up in the rain...walk back to vans in the rain. It was really fun. I couldn't believe I did it.
Brent came on the hike with all us girls what a brave man! He was in good spirit and was nice to have around to start the fire!

Drive in

We decided to take the kids to the drive in for the first time. We saw Shrek 4 and Ironman. Kids and Brent slept threw Ironman. They loved it, bugs weren't that bad and there was a breeze. We had a lot of fun but I was pretty tired the next day. (we all were tired the next day) Snuggling up waiting for the movie to start!
Grace thought it would be comfortable to put her blanket on the rocks!!! Lets just say it didn't last long!

Kids were in the lawn chairs and Brent and I were in the back of the van...how was that comfortable?

Grace and Mom

Grace and I were having a quite morning (Noah was at school) and she was talking about Canada (like she does everyday) And then she says to me "Even though Nanny is not here...she is in here (pointed to her brain) and in here (she pointed to here heart) It was the cutest thing I had ever seen...It almost brought tears! I love my kids!

Grace reading minutes

At Graces preschool we log every min we read for the school year. Grace was so proud of her reading minutes she found the tape and taped her award on the wall for all to see!!
